Presents a One Day Workshop on 'Emotion Regulation Treatment'

Date: Friday 12th February 2010, 9.30 to 4.30

Location: Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London, nr Holborn tube station

Description:

Clients who cannot tolerate or down-regulate a painful emotion will often manage their feelings through behaviours such as drug or alcohol use, binge eating, anorexia, self-harm or suicide attempts. In recent years there has been research into how these dysfunctional coping strategies can be reduced by coaching alternative functional behaviour. Two experienced clinicians from the NHS share techniques and experiences that help clients who have difficulty regulating their emotional responses.

Booking: This workshop has been evaluated very highly by delegates. To book your place, visit us online and use the relevant Buy Now button, or print, fill in and return this booking form.

Negative emotions or thoughts can disrupt or block our energy system; trauma is often frozen energy, and sub-personalities are constellations of diverse energy. EFT is a form of energy psychology and reversal that combines working with the body's energy and meridian system alongside our beliefs and emotions. A form of "emotional acupuncture it does not replace
relational therapy but can be integrated into clinical practice.

Attitudes to money are complex and confusing both personally and professionally, and yet gaining clarity in this area can be a road to greater spiritual depth and clinical trust. In this one day workshop we will begin to address what money means to us as individuals, practitioners, and as spiritual beings. We will look at our history around this and how we handle the use of money in the therapeutic relationship and support our personal security in the world.

Constellations Workshop — Trainer:  Alannah Tandy Pilbrow
Dates: 29 and 30 May 2010, Time: 10am to 5pm

Full Price £190. Final Booking Date: 14 May 2010

In constellation work clients have the opportunity, using other members of the group as representatives, to set up their own family constellation. This “knowing field” is like a map of the system, where all the events and information are timelessly present. As the entanglements or hidden dynamics come to light, we gain a much larger perspective, and clearer understanding of our behaviour and lives as individuals in relationship and in our families.
