Age UK Manchester Counselling Service is for residents of Manchester aged 60 years and over and their carers. Currently, the service is available over the telephone, virtually and in our centres across the City of Manchester. Home visits (subject to risk assessment) are offered to housebound clients at times and locations suitable to client needs.

You can get free psychological therapies, including counselling for depression, on the NHS . You don’t need a referral from your GP. You can refer yourself directly to a psychological therapies service. Or you can get a referral from your GP if you prefer.
