Living in Twickenham is considered highly desirable and house prices are high. At our end of town we’re closer to Richmond Upon Thames than Twickenham town centre. We can walk here, to up-market Richmond , within 5 minutes. Or stroll into Twickenham for the library and the shops within 10.
Richmond has seven platforms, 1 and 2 are used for mainline South West Trains services, 3 and 4 are mainly for London Overground services and 5, 6 and 7 for London Underground trains. Step – free access to all platforms is via staff-operated lifts. Toilets are located on the lower concourse.
As a general rule a Travelcard is more expensive than an Oyster card or Contactless payment card . The exception is if you make 3 or more journeys for 6 days or more within a 7 day period. Otherwise an Oyster on a Pay As You Go basis or a Contactless payment card is cheaper .
