Listed below are qualifications in the discipline of psychology and adjacent fields, both professionally and academically (psychotherapy, counseling and social work).A variety of academic degrees, including the Doctorate of Philosophy, are available in these fields, but only those pertaining specifically to psychological subjects are included here.A master’s degree in child development and family interactions will be beneficial for you.
Start the application process. It is necessary for you to hold a master’s degree with a main study in counseling from a regionally approved school, with at least 48 semester or 72 quarter hours of graduate-level academic credit in counseling included.
Lastly, any national certificates that are freely sought and issued by certified / legal certifying authorities should be included on the list of qualifications to be considered. (Keep in mind that not all credentials are created equal.) These qualifications are often ordered in the order of difficulty to achieve, with the most difficult credentials being mentioned first.
