Start the application process. It is necessary for you to hold a master’s degree with a main study in counseling from a regionally approved school, with at least 48 semester or 72 quarter hours of graduate-level academic credit in counseling included.
Lastly, any national certificates that are freely sought and issued by certified / legal certifying authorities should be included on the list of qualifications to be considered.
