Richmond Park is an interesting one, going all the way from Zone 3 in the north and east, to Zone 4 in the west and Zone 6 in the south.
Transport for London (TfL) today announced the locations of 30 new shops and newsagents where people can now buy and top-up Oyster across Richmond upon Thames.
Central London is zone 1 , zone 2 is the ring around zone 1 , zone 3 is the ring around 2 and so on. If you look at the zone map below it should make sense. * zones 7,8 and 9 cover a small area just outside North West London including Watford, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, Amersham or Chalfont & Latimer.
Camden Town is a London Underground station on the Northern line. The station is in Travelcard Zone 2 .
Richmond station is a National Rail and London Underground station managed by South West Trains. It is on the South West Trains Waterloo to Reading line, the London Underground District line and also the London Overground North London Line.
Within London, all London Underground , National Rail , London Overground , TfL Rail and Docklands Light Railway stations are assigned to six fare zones. Fare zone 1 covers the central area and fare zones 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 form concentric rings around it.

Notting Hill Gate is a London Underground station near Notting Hill , London, located on the street called Notting Hill Gate. On the District line and Circle line, it is between High Street Kensington and Bayswater stations. It is on the boundary of Travelcard Zone 1 and Zone 2 .
The travelcard that is included with the London Pass package can be used within Zones 1-6 on London’s local buses, London Underground , National Rail Trains, Docklands Light Rail , and the Tramlink .

Camden Town is in Zone 1 on the London Underground network. If you fancy a walk it will take around 30 minutes from Kings Cross station, although you can get the tube or the 214 bus from there.
Zone 2 are based around Peckham in south-east London, whose rivals are Moscow 17.
